Overview

Compact autostainer for low throughput workflows.

GyroStainer is designed around low-throughput Pap staining: small slide batches, compact bench footprint, reduced reagent volumes and repeatable protocol execution.

Built for low-throughput labs

GyroStainer brings repeatable automated Pap staining to small batches, where commercial high-throughput stainers are too costly, large and reagent-hungry.

Compact by design

The rotary bath layout keeps the machine footprint small while preserving the familiar open-bath staining workflow.

Efficient reagent use

One 250 ml station and eight 150 ml reagent stations support complete staining sequences while reducing the reagent overhead associated with larger automated platforms.

GyroStainer with lid open

Transparent lid provides protective cover for the staining area while keeping the loading and staining process visible.

For small-batch precision

Where slide volumes are low, but timing and process consistency matter.

For constrained benches

Compact rotary layout keeps the footprint compact.

For easier operation

Touchscreen and browser interface guide the operator through saved, repeatable protocols.

For lean reagent workflows

Low bath volumes avoid reagent overhead of larger automated staining platforms.

Features

Everything needed for controlled small-batch staining.

The machine focuses on what matters in a lean cytology workflow: repeatable timing, low reagent overhead, simple control and a compact layout.

Programmable staining workflow

Run saved protocols with defined station order, immersion time, rinse count, shake-off time and final holder state.

Repeatable timing and motion

Automated station indexing, vertical immersion, rinsing and shake-off reduce dependence on manual timing and operator rhythm.

Touchscreen operation

Select a protocol, choose the slide count, review the run summary and monitor progress directly on the integrated touchscreen.

Wi-Fi browser control

Use a PC to wirelessly run protocols, monitor progress, edit protocol files and adjust settings through the browser interface.

Small slide batches

Process 1 to 6 slides per run, a practical size for triage, research, special stains and small laboratories.

Integrated fan drying

A dedicated drying station supports the programmed workflow.

Protocol editing

Protocols are completely customisable so the staining sequence can be adapted to any workflow.

Clear safety controls

The machine includes defined power controls, emergency-stop recovery guidance and manual procedures for routine operation.

Bath Layout & Reagent Economy

Compact bath volumes, complete staining sequence.

GyroStainer combines a fan-drying station with one 250 ml bath and eight 150 ml reagent stations. This supports compact staining workflows and avoids the excess reagent volume use of larger platforms. Ideal for low throughput Pap staining, special stains and research labs.

Practical station configuration

The larger 250 ml bath supports steps that benefit from added capacity like distilled water and rinsing, while the eight 150 ml stations cover the reagent sequence used for compact Pap, special stain and research protocols.

Workflow fit

A compact bath map gives small labs automated timing and repeatable movement while preserving bench space and providing compatibility with small chemical fume hoods.

Workflow

A familiar staining process with automated timing.

Operators prepare the baths and load the slides. GyroStainer then executes the saved sequence with consistent timing and movement.

01

Prepare

Fill reagent baths.

02

Load

Load slides and insert holder.

03

Start

Select a protocol and click start. GyroStainer does the rest.

Open-bath logic

Keeps the staining workflow recognizable while removing the manual timing burden.

Guided operation

Saved protocols and clear run summaries keep the process simple for staff run after run.
